For the period from 1 September 2010 to 31 August 2016, 14 Judges had to be appointed to the General Court. ---|--- (2) | By Decisions 2010/362/EU (1), 2010/400/EU (2) and 2010/629/EU (3), the Conference of the Representatives of the Governments of the Member States appointed 13 Judges to the General Court for the above period. ---|--- (3) | Pending completion of the process of appointment of a Judge to the post remaining to be filled, in accordance with the provisions of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Mr Valeriu CIUCĂ, appointed as a Judge on 1 January 2007, remained in office after 31 August 2010. ---|--- (4) | The Government of Romania has nominated Mr Andrei POPESCU for the post of Judge of the General Court. The panel set up by Article 255 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union has given an opinion on the suitability of that candidate to perform the duties of Judge of the General Court. ---|--- (5) | A member of the General Court should therefore be appointed for the period from 26 November 2010 to 31 August 2016, ---|--- HAVE ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 Mr Andrei POPESCU is hereby appointed Judge of the General Court for the period from 26 November 2010 to 31 August 2016.
