Statute overview

About this statute

This regulation amends EU social security coordination rules, including benefits in kind, family benefits, annex listings, and some calculation rules. This annex sets special social-security coordination rules for several Member States, including insurance registration, benefit treatment, and some pension-calculation exceptions. If a UK income tax year from 6 April 1975 onward is not a qualifying year, insurance, employment, or residence periods in that year are disregarded. The provision also sets a method for converting an earnings factor into weeks of insurance, with fractions ignored and the result capped by the weeks the person was actually subject to UK legislation.
