She should be replaced for the remainder of her term of office, HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 Mr Algirdas Gediminas ŠEMETA is hereby appointed a member of the Commission for the period from 1 July 2009 to 31 October 2009. Article 2 This Decision shall take effect on 1 July 2009. Article 3 This Decision shall be published in the Official Journal of the European Union. Done at Brussels, 30 June 2009.
