In accordance with Articles 1 and 2 of the Protocol on the position of Denmark annexed to the Treaty on European Union and the Treaty establishing the European Community, Denmark is not bound by the provisions of Council Regulation (EC) No 1348/2000 of 29 May 2000 on the service in the Member States of judicial and extrajudicial documents in civil or commercial matters(2), nor subject to their application.

Article 2 The President of the Council is hereby authorised to designate the person empowered to make the notification provided for in Article 10(2) of the Agreement.
