| Official Journal of the European Union | EN C series ---|---|--- * * * | C/2026/2113 | 29.4.2026 ---|---|--- P10_TA(2025)0243 Non-objection to a delegated act: the nomenclature for the dimensions and codes for the types of intervention for the ERDF, the ESF+, the Cohesion Fund and the JTF European Parliament decision to raise no objections to Commission Delegated Regulation of 22 September 2025 amending Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the nomenclature for the dimensions and codes for the types of intervention for the ERDF, the ESF+, the Cohesion Fund and the JTF (C(2025)06376 – 2025/2888(DEA)) (C/2026/2113) The European Parliament, — | having regard to the Commission delegated regulation (C(2025)06376), ---|--- — | having regard to the Commission’s letter of 22 September 2025 asking Parliament to declare that it will raise no objections to the delegated regulation, ---|--- — | having regard to the letter from the Committee on Regional Development to the Chair of the Conference of Committee Chairs of 14 October 2025, ---|--- — | having regard to Article 290 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, ---|--- — | having regard to Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 June 2021 laying down common provisions on the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, the Cohesion Fund, the Just Transition Fund and the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund and financial rules for those and for the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, the Internal Security Fund and the Instrument for Financial Support for Border Management and Visa Policy (1), and in particular Article 113 and Article 114(6) thereof, ---|--- — | having regard to Rule 114(6) of its Rules of Procedure, ---|--- — | having regard to the recommendation for a decision of the Committee on Regional Development, ---|--- — | having regard to the fact that no objections have been raised within the period laid down in the third and fourth indents of Rule 114(6) of its Rules of Procedure, which expired on 21 October 2025, ---|--- A. | whereas in order to enable Member States to carry out meaningful reprogramming in the context of the mid-term review and to focus resources on the new strategic Union priorities set out in Regulation (EU) 2021/1060, the Commission, on 4 April 2025, submitted a request to apply the urgent procedure in accordance with Rule 170 of the European Parliament’s Rules of Procedure to its proposal for a Regulation amending Regulations (EU) 2021/1058 and (EU) 2021/1056 as regards specific measures to address strategic challenges in the context of the mid-term review (2); whereas the Commission presented that proposal at the Committee on Regional Development meeting on 9 April 2025; ---|--- B. | whereas at its meeting on 5 May 2025, the Committee on Regional Development decided to support the request for the application of an urgent procedure in accordance with Rule 170(5) of its Rules of Procedure which led to the adoption of Regulation (EU) 2025/1914 of the European Parliament and of the Council (3); ---|--- C. | whereas the Commission delegated regulation is necessary to ensure alignment and consistency between Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 and the fund-specific regulations (ERDF/Cohesion Fund, ESF+ and JTF Regulations) with the aim to ensure that the amended and newly introduced specific objectives pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2025/1914 can be implemented through the addition of corresponding intervention fields in Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 and to enable their use in programme implementation and reporting; ---|--- 1. | Declares that it has no objections to the delegated regulation; ---|--- 2. | Instructs its President to forward this decision to the Council and the Commission. ---|--- * * * (1) OJ L 231, 30.6.2021, p. 159, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg/2021/1060/oj.
