(2) The seat of an alternate member of the Committee of the Regions has become vacant following the resignation of Mr António PAIVA, of which the Council was notified on 4 February 2003, HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS: Sole Article Ms Teresa Maria da SILVA PAIS ZAMBUJO is hereby appointed an alternate member of the Committee of the Regions in place of Mr António PAIVA for the remainder of his term of office, which expires on 25 January 2006.
