This regulation changes the 2007 herring catch limits for ICES zones I and II and sets the quota rules that apply.

The overall catch limitation for 2007 is fixed at a level of 1 280 000 tonnes in full conformity with the scientific advice from the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES). That agreement should be implemented into Community law. ---|--- (3) | Regulation (EC) No 41/2007 should therefore be amended accordingly, ---|--- HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION: Article 1 Annex IB to Regulation (EC) No 41/2007 is amended in accordance with the Annex to this Regulation. Article 2 This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
