In accordance with Council Decision 2012/106/EU(1), the Agreement between the European Union and the Government of the Russian Federation on trade in parts and components of motor vehicles between the European Union and the Russian Federation (‘the Agreement’), was signed on 16 December 2011, subject to its conclusion.

Article 2 The President of the Council shall designate the person(s) empowered to proceed, on behalf of the Union, to make the notification provided for in Article 13(2) of the Agreement in order to express the consent of the Union to be bound by the Agreement (3).
