| Official Journal of the European Union | EN C series ---|---|--- * * * | C/2025/6712 | 17.12.2025 ---|---|--- COUNCIL DECISION of 11 December 2025 appointing two members and three alternates to the Administrative Board of the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (C/2025/6712) THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Having regard to Regulation (EU) 2019/942 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 June 2019 establishing a European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (1), and in particular Article 18 thereof, Whereas: (1) | Regulation (EU) 2019/942 provides that the Council is to appoint five members and their alternates to the Administrative Board of the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (the ‘Administrative Board’). ---|--- (2) | Regulation (EU) 2019/942 provides that a member of the Administrative Board is not to be a member of the Board of Regulators of the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators and that the members of the Administrative Board are to act independently and objectively in the interest of the Union as a whole. ---|--- (3) | In view of the expiry of the term of office of two members and three alternates of the Administrative Board appointed by the Council, new appointments should be made to replace them, ---|--- HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION: Article 1 The following persons are hereby appointed as members to the Administrative Board for a period of four years from 28 January 2026: — | Mr Václav BARTUŠKA, Czechia, ---|--- — | Mr Jorge SOUSA, Portugal. ---|--- Article 2 The following persons are hereby appointed as alternates to the Administrative Board for a period of four years from 28 January 2026: — | Mr Atanas GEORGIEV, Bulgaria, ---|--- — | Mr Boris MAKŠIJAN, Croatia, ---|--- — | Mr Oliver PÚČEK, Slovakia. ---|--- Article 3 This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
