Statute overview

About this statute

This part sets up the EFSI framework, the EIAH, and the EIPP, and requires the Commission and EIB to conclude implementation agreements. This provision sets governance, reporting, transparency, funding, and anti-fraud rules for the EFSI and EU guarantee system. The EIB, the EIF, and financial intermediaries must not support illegal-purpose activities, and the EIB must apply anti-money-laundering rules, require beneficial ownership disclosure, and recover funds when illegal activity is proven.
