(2)EFTA Surveillance Authority Decision No 84/16/COL of 27 April 2016 amending, for the hundredth-and-first time, the procedural and substantive rules in the field of State aid by introducing new Guidelines for the analysis of the compatibility with the functioning of the EEA Agreement of State aid to promote the execution of important projects of common European interest [2017/267] (OJ L 39, 16.2.2017, p. 49), and EEA Supplement No 11, 16.2.2017, p. 1.

ESA updates the State aid guidelines for IPCEIs and applies the new rules, while Member States must notify planned aid, publish certain aid award information, and report on project execution.

(2)The text of the Agreement is attached to the Decision on the signing, on behalf of the European Union and provisional application of the Association Agreement between the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community and their Member States, of the one part, and Georgia, of the other part (see page 1 of this Official Journal).

The Council approves the Commission’s conclusion of the EU–Euratom Association Agreement with Georgia, and the decision takes effect the day after adoption.
