Statute overview

About this statute

This provision says the law has been repealed. Employers must arrange and pay for minimum pension coverage for employees who have worked continuously for at least one month, with listed exemptions. Employees must also contribute as set out in section 12 b §. An employer may report an employment income amount under certain pension-law coverage conditions, but only from the start of the seventh calendar month at the earliest. Employers must arrange pension insurance in an approved form and display workplace information about where the pension cover is arranged. Insurance companies may not refuse or keep refusing pension insurance within the minimum coverage, except that a mutual insurer may refuse in a specific shareholder-eligibility case. Section 4 sets out when workers can receive age, disability, unemployment, part-time, survivor, and rehabilitation-related pension benefits, including age limits and key qualifying conditions.
