Statute overview

About this statute

This section identifies which university-based teacher training units are covered and says rules for university faculties apply to them unless this regulation or the unit’s practice school rules say otherwise. A lecturer in performance must teach the subject of the post, supervise related exercises for up to 640 hours per academic year, and do other teaching-related tasks as further set out in the university regulations. A term of study leave must be used within four years after the end of the seven-year service period, and the leave application must be filed at least one year before that four-year period ends. Undervisningsministeriet may issue instructions on how school terms are to be arranged when needed. The Ministry of Education may issue further rules when needed about how this regulation is applied.
