Statute overview

About this statute

A state guarantee fund is established in connection with the Ministry of Trade and Industry, outside the state budget, and it has a board and a secretary general. Fonden ska trygga att vissa förbindelser fullgörs och används också för vissa ansvarsförbindelser. The provision says what sources the fund’s money may come from. The State is responsible for guarantees and surety issued by the special financing company under the listed guarantee laws. The state guarantee fund’s board decides on loss-covering payments and may do so during the financial period based on an interim statement. Profit may be transferred back to the fund under certain conditions, and the Ministry decides how the net amount is recorded in the company’s accounts.
