About this statute
The regulation applies to regular ordered transport arranged by a municipality or joint municipal authority and carried out by taxi. It defines “regular transport” and says the regulation determines the maximum allowed route fare. The route tax may consist of one or more parts: a distance-based fee, a waiting-time fee, an assistance supplement, and a goods-transport supplement. This provision sets how a route-length-based transport fee is classified into four tax classes and how passengers are counted for that classification. A waiting fee may be charged for waiting time, but only in the specified route cases or if there is a separate customer agreement on the fee and its amount. An assistanstillägg of up to 35 mk may be charged for transport if the passenger needs a vehicle with proper stretcher or disability equipment and there is a special agreement with the customer.
