About this statute
This section says the regulation supplements the Municipal Pensions Act and sets rules for calculating pension-qualifying employment length, when employment starts in certain cases, and which last pension institution handles payment, decision summaries, and other pension administration. This section sets how to calculate employment length: each calendar month counts as 30 days, and month-end days are treated as the 30th day; month length in months is then calculated by dividing the day count by 30. If the first day of a month is a non-working day and the relevant employee starts on the first working day, the employment is treated as having started on the first day of the month. The rule determines which pension institution is the last pension institution when pension cover exists under multiple laws. The section says which pension institution counts as the “last pension institution” for part-time pension cases.
