Statute overview

About this statute

When the district office receives a request under the Youth Punishment Act, it must promptly tell the suspected offender the latest date to report for a enforcement plan and give the suspected person’s guardian or other legal representative a chance to be heard. The court that sentenced a person to youth punishment must enter the decision details into the judgment system. Tingsrätten must notify two authorities within one week after the objection period ends if no objection was filed; Brottspåföljdsverket must then send the enforcement document without delay and immediately report any Supreme Court ban or suspension order.
