About this statute
Municipal environmental protection regulations may cover reporting information needed for supervision and measures to improve water status required by a water management plan. When setting monitoring conditions for activities affecting waters, what is needed for monitoring under water-status monitoring programmes must be taken into account. Monitoring data from the activity may be used for monitoring and for preparing the management plan. When assessing significant pollution in a permit, the permit must take into account what is stated in the water management plan about water status and water use in the project’s influence area. If the environmental impact assessment law applies to a project, the permit decision must state how the assessment was considered. The permit decision must also state how water management plans were considered. Den myndighet som har beviljat tillståndet ska i tillämpliga delar behandla ett justeringsärende som en tillståndsansökan.
