Statute overview

About this statute

Property transfer gain is calculated by deducting the unpaid part of acquisition cost and transfer-gain acquisition expenses from the transfer price. This section sets rules for calculating acquisition cost for property, shares, and related instruments. Capital gains from property received by a natural person or an estate are not taxable if the total transfer prices for other property sold during the tax year are at most EUR 1,000. Certain losses are not treated as deductible transfer losses.
