Statute overview
About this statute
The pensions board has members appointed from nominees of specified central organisations, may have staff, and its rapporteurs must hold a law degree. The Pension Board normally decides appeal matters in plenary, unless it decides to divide into sections. Certain administrative matters must always be handled in plenary. The administrative section handles the pension board’s administrative matters, unless they are specially assigned to the plenary. Appeals cases in the state pension board and its sections are decided on presentation; if there is a disagreement, a simple majority applies, and if votes are tied, the chair’s view prevails. Board decisions are signed by the presenter. This provision says the regulation starts on 1 September 2004, repeals a specified old section, and allows implementation steps before commencement.
