Statute overview

About this statute

Fees are charged under this regulation for the Ministry of Trade and Industry’s public-law services linked to the environmental impact assessment procedure for nuclear facilities. The contact authority charges fixed fees for certain statements about nuclear facility environmental assessment documents. For a cancelled procedure about an environmental impact assessment program or description, only half of the fee in section 2 is charged if the Ministry of Trade and Industry has informed and requested opinions. The ministry may charge the project-responsible person for certain costs it has paid, on top of the fees in sections 2 and 3. This regulation starts on 15 November 2004, ends on 30 June 2005, and applies to environmental assessment programs and impact statements submitted to the Ministry of Trade and Industry for an opinion after it has entered into force.
