Statute overview

About this statute

The regulation applies to an electricity seller’s duty to state the origin of electricity. Electricity bills or attachments sent to consumers must state the origin of the electricity, at least once per calendar year, and the same information must also be given in advertising sent to consumers. Public information sources must state specified carbon dioxide emissions and used nuclear fuel amounts for electricity sold in the previous calendar year. This provision says the regulation enters into force on 1 July 2005.
