Lag om ändring av lagen om studiestöd

A person who has received a student loan under this law is entitled to a student-loan tax deduction, subject to the conditions in this law.

About this statute

A person who has received a student loan under this law is entitled to a student-loan tax deduction, subject to the conditions in this law. This provision defines “higher education” and explains when studies count as full-time studies. The provision sets time limits for study support and housing supplement amounts for students. This provision sets monthly state guarantee amounts for student loans and rules for student loan deduction eligibility, including who may apply and when the authority must decide and share information. The rule on disclosure of information by technical connection also applies to the Social Insurance Institution’s right to receive information by technical connection.
