About this statute

The State Pension Fund is an off-budget state fund used to prepare for paying future pensions and similar benefits and to smooth related state expenses. The Ministry of Finance supervises the State Pension Fund, may issue general instructions, may obtain needed information and explanations from the fund, and approves the fund’s annual budget. The State Pension Fund has a board, and the Ministry of Finance appoints it and can dismiss a member.
