Statute overview

About this statute

The regulation says when young workers may perform particularly harmful or dangerous work, and it limits some cases to only section 5. Young workers and certain students may do specified work only under the required supervision and safety conditions, and the supervision arrangement must be attached to the relevant training agreement. A young worker may be assigned to the listed hazardous jobs only during specified training, under the stated conditions, and with a dispensation under section 8. Young workers covered by the regulation must be instructed and supervised on workplace conditions, safety, risks, equipment, safe methods, and first aid procedures.
