Statute overview

About this statute

Certain insurance companies must pay a traffic safety fee to the Traffic Insurance Central in 2008. The traffic safety fee is allocated in fixed amounts to Trafikskyddet, Ålands landskapsstyrelse, and the remaining amount to Trafikförsäkringscentralen. Every insurance company must pay quarterly advance payments to the Traffic Insurance Centre, and the Centre must account for certain shares to specified bodies within two days of each due date. Two bodies must send reports to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health by 31 March 2009. This regulation enters into force on 1 January 2008 and applies to the collection of the traffic safety fee for 2008.
