Statute overview

About this statute

En delegation för elektronisk informationsadministration inom social- och hälsovården finns vid social- och hälsovårdsministeriet, och statsrådet tillsätter den på ministeriets framställning för högst tre år åt gången. The delegation must have a chair, a vice-chair and up to 16 members, each with a personal deputy. The ministry appoints replacements if someone leaves during the term. The delegation may also appoint secretaries, experts and sections. Delegationen must carry out specified preparation, monitoring, and development tasks related to national information system services and health-care information administration, and it may take initiatives, give opinions, and adopt its own annual work plan. Delegationen and its sections meet when called by the relevant chair, with the vice chair acting if the chair is prevented; quorum rules also apply. The ministry decides whether meeting fees and travel expenses may be paid to the delegation chair, members, secretary, and experts.
