Statute overview

About this statute

Vissa försäkringsbolag ska under 2009 betala trafiksäkerhetsavgiften till Trafikförsäkringscentralen. The traffic safety fee is allocated in fixed amounts to Trafikskyddet, Ålands landskapsstyrelse, and the remaining amount to Trafikförsäkringscentralen. Insurance companies must pay quarterly advance payments to the Traffic Insurance Central, with set due dates for each quarterly payment. The Traffic Insurance Central must also report the relevant shares of traffic safety fees to Trafikskyddet and the Åland Regional Government Office within two days of each due date. Trafikförsäkringscentralen and Ålands landskapsförvaltning must send a report to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health by 31 March 2010. The regulation enters into force on 1 January 2009 and applies to the collection of the traffic safety fee for 2009.
