About this statute
Students have a right to information about assessment criteria and how they were applied; assessment must be multi-faceted, and oral language skills in language teaching must be assessed separately. A student has the right to have prior studies or other acquired knowledge assessed and recognized. Section 34 says certain decisions may be appealed to the provincial government, and it sets implementation and commencement dates for related education measures.
