About this statute
The provisions of the specified agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters apply as law in Finland. If Finland decides to provide legal assistance, it must make the disclosure conditional on the requesting state using the data only for the specified purposes and taking proper measures to protect personal data. The Government may issue more detailed rules by regulation to carry out this law. The Council of State may determine when this law enters into force by regulation.
