Statute overview
About this statute
A warning sign is generally a red-bordered triangle with its point upward and a figure in the middle showing the kind of danger. Warning signs are to be placed on the right side of the roadway or above it, unless otherwise provided below. Signs indicating prohibitions or restrictions are generally circular with a red border. Traffic signs that indicate prohibitions or restrictions must be placed on the right side of the road or carriageway, with some signs allowed in other specified positions. The provision explains how certain information signs are used, what they communicate, and allows some transitional use of non-conforming parking information signs until the end of 2013.
