Statute overview
About this statute
Vehicles must not carry certain symbols or indicator lamps on the wrong vehicle, and nothing in a vehicle may block the driver’s view or interfere with driving. Varningslyktor på motorcyklar som används som utryckningsfordon ska vara E-godkända enligt reglemente nr 65 eller godkända av Trafiksäkerhetsverket. Trafiksäkerhetsverket may grant vehicle-related exemptions and approvals in specified cases. Trafiksäkerhetsverket must keep the number of granted exemptions for the last vehicles in a production series within the maximum limit, record each granted exemption, and report exemption details to other Member State authorities within one month and to the Commission every year. Trafiksäkerhetsverket may grant exemptions for certain vehicles, components, or technical units using new technology if the exemption does not cause significant environmental harm or endanger road safety.
