Statute overview

About this statute

This provision says the regulation supplements the Municipal Pensions Act (549/2003) for certain pension calculations and administration. The holder of a municipal veterinarian service must give the municipality the information it needs about total fee amounts when pension-related remuneration is determined. Kommunen ska senast 31 december fastställa beloppet för nästa kalenderår, och kan före 30 april justera det om veterinärarvodena förändras väsentligt. This section says which pension institution is the “last pension institution” when pension cover has been arranged in more than one system, and when the municipal pension institution or private/public sector institutions must handle the case. In part-time pension cases, the “last pension institution” is the pension institution that arranged pension cover for the employment or self-employment the worker is leaving; in some overlapping pension cases, it is the institution paying the part-time pension, unless the new pension starts at the same time, in which case the municipal pension institution is the last one.
