Statute overview

About this statute

This section lists the regional state administrative agencies and their operating areas and main offices, plus the Åland state office and its main office. The regional state administrative agencies are organized around listed responsibility areas, with additional tasks assigned to them under section 3. Vissa responsibility areas within each regional administrative agency must handle the tasks assigned to them within the agency’s operational area. The section states that the director of a regional state administrative agency is a deputy director general, while the head of an agency’s responsibility area and the unit responsible for administrative services are directors. Every regional state administrative office must have an administrative services unit, and that unit must handle the office’s internal administration and support tasks assigned to it.
