About this statute
When supervision of a conditionally sentenced person is to be carried out in Finland, a supervisor must be appointed at the same time. If related conditions or instructions cannot be applied, they may be changed, but probation and supervision periods must not be changed. A monitoring measure for a person conditionally sentenced in Denmark, Iceland, Norway, or Sweden and ordered to be enforced in Finland may be ended under section 11 of the law on monitoring conditional imprisonment.
