Statute overview

About this statute

Authorities applying this law must handle their part of producing and updating the basic information material. The Ministry of Employment and the Economy must coordinate, translate, and distribute that material. The Ministry of Employment and Economy is responsible for preparing the programme, and relevant ministries must set goals and measures for their own administrative sectors. The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment is responsible for integration policy development, planning, steering, coordination, national evaluation and follow-up, and it directs the regional economic, transport and environment centres on related tasks. Arbets- och näringsministeriet får stöd av ett samarbetsorgan för att främja samarbete, information och samordning mellan ministerierna om integrationsfrämjande. The regional economic, transport and environment centre must support municipal integration-promotion programmes, monitor how they are carried out, and report information on them to the Ministry of Employment and the Economy every year.
