About this statute

A wind-power general plan must ensure adequate land-use guidance, suitability for the landscape and surroundings, and that technical service and electricity transmission can be arranged; the municipality may charge planning costs in certain cases. Municipalities may not grant exemptions for certain new buildings on shoreline areas without an applicable plan, except for expansion or replacement of an existing residential house.
