Statute overview

About this statute

If a member society goes bankrupt, the bankruptcy estate may continue as a member society in the municipal pension institution, must pay the fees under section 131 while a member, and may leave under section 168 a(2). An employee receiving unemployment allowance may be entitled to old-age pension at age 62 without an early-retirement reduction. Anställda med deltidspension kan i vissa fall fortfarande anses uppfylla villkoren för pension i sex veckor efter att arbetstiden minskat, dock inte längre än uppsägningstiden. A part-time pension for an employee who does not apply for old-age pension after turning 68 is converted into an old-age pension of the same amount. Invalid pension may be adjusted, suspended, or withdrawn on the pension recipient’s application or on the pension institution’s own initiative, under the stated conditions.
