The provision establishes Sibbo storskogs national park to protect forest nature, mountains, cultural environments, species, and natural surroundings, and to support public recreation, outdoor life, nature interest, and education. The provision describes where Sibbo storskog National Park is located and how its boundaries are marked on the map attached to the law. This section says the rules on prohibited activities in the national park are in section 13 of the Nature Conservation Act, and the exception rules are in sections 14 and 15, but some of those exception provisions do not apply in Sibbo storskogs national park. In parts of Sibbo storskog national park, travel may be prohibited or restricted when needed for defence-related reasons. This section says the law starts on 1 May 2011, repeals a government decree on Sibbo storskogs nature reserve, and allows hunting in Sibbo storskogs national park for three years under the existing hunting lease agreement.
