About this statute

The regulation sets maximum prices and any extra charges that may be charged to consumers in taxi traffic. The maximum price charged to consumers consists of a base fee, a distance-based fee, and a waiting-time fee; an advance-order fee and several supplements may also be charged. The base fee may be charged up to EUR 5.50 for certain daytime starts, and up to EUR 8.60 at other times. The distance-based fee is split into four tax classes, with the rate depending on distance and passenger count. Waiting time fee may be charged up to 40.80 euros per hour.
