About this statute

The provision says meat transport aid may be granted in 2011 to bookkeeping-obligated meat buyers, for transporting cattle, pigs, sheep, poultry, horses, and goats from the production site to a slaughterhouse or small slaughterhouse. Transport support is paid according to Annex 1, but not for any amount that exceeds the limit in paragraph 1. The regulation enters into force on 31 August 2011 and its annex lists meat transport support rates by support area.
