Statute overview
About this statute
The compensation amount for each specialist physician qualification in occupational health care is 64,700 euros. Työterveyslaitos voi maksaa tiettyjen yliopistojen työterveyshuollon erikoislääkärikoulutukseen liittyviä korvauksia, enintään 81 000 euroa yliopistoa kohti, ja lisäksi yhteensä 485 000 euroa muihin koulutus- ja virtuaaliyliopistokustannuksiin. Työterveyslaitos may use 1,340,000 euros of the specified appropriation for certain specialist medical training costs in occupational health, but not for costs that already receive state contribution under section 3(1) of the financing law. Työterveyslaitos may, on application, pay compensation to private healthcare providers and employer-run health stations for approved specialist training in occupational health, subject to per-month and total-month limits. Eligible providers and employer-run health stations must apply in writing to Työterveyslaitos for the compensation within three months after each half-year period ends.
