Statute overview
About this statute
This chapter contains supplementary provisions. The Church, dioceses, bishops, and parishes are described as having or being allowed to have a coat of arms, and any coat of arms must be prepared according to heraldic rules. Different church coats of arms are approved by different church bodies, and some approvals must be submitted for confirmation. The Church Board and chapter must also get the National Archives’ opinion before approval or confirmation. Det organ som har godkänt ett vapen övervakar användningen av vapnet. This section defines “seal” and “stamp,” and says the same rules also apply to other visual markings and impressions used in church administration to confirm document correctness.
