Statute overview

About this statute

The municipal pension institution must recover or reimburse certain pension costs plus interest by the end of the following calendar year, if the conditions in the section are met. The Finance Ministry must appoint an auditor each year, and the auditor must review specified pension-related calculations and payments. The auditor must also meet a CGR or OFR qualification. Certain public and church-related employers, member communities, and the Social Insurance Institution must regularly give pension information to the pension institution, and the pension institution may inspect records and issue reporting rules.
