Statute overview

About this statute

A worker has a right to old-age pension from the month after turning 63–68, or deferred old-age pension after the month of turning 68, if the worker is no longer in the employment from which they retire. Old-age pension starts the month after the worker reaches pension age and leaves the relevant work; deferred old-age pension starts the month after the pension application. A worker aged 61–67 who has moved to part-time work is entitled to part-time pension if the part-time earnings are 35–70% of stabilized income. A worker may claim pension earned during disability pension periods, subject to the stated conditions. En arbetsgivare har rätt att få vissa nödvändiga pensionsuppgifter från pensionsanstalterna för ekonomi, personaladministration och kontroll av arbetspensionsförsäkringsavgifter.
