About this statute

The law’s purpose is to improve employers’ ability to arrange training for their employees to develop their professional skills. This section says the law applies to employer training cost compensation, except for listed public bodies and household employers. The Ministry of Finance is responsible for implementing the law for state agencies, and the Unemployment Insurance Fund is responsible for implementation for other employers. Arbetsgivaren har rätt till utbildningsersättning för viss utbildning om flera villkor är uppfyllda. Training compensation is set at 10% of the wage-cost base, and it is payable for at most three training days per employee per calendar year.
