Statute overview
About this statute
A cross-sector employment plan is treated as prepared once the unemployed person and the participating authorities have approved it. The employment and economic development office must set up one or more intersectoral service coordination steering groups for three-year terms, after consulting the municipalities in its area and the Social Insurance Institution. A steering group for cross-sectoral joint services must make a cooperation agreement, decide key service arrangements, set annual goals, agree on budget allocation, and follow up and evaluate implementation. The municipalities in the steering group must appoint a leader and deputy for cross-sectoral joint service, and the steering group must approve them before appointment. The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment must appoint a steering group for cross-sectoral joint service for three-year terms and a working section for it.
