About this statute

A mortgage association is a credit institution and its special purpose is to lend long-term funds mainly against mortgage security or other adequate security. Supplementary capital may be repaid only if the mortgage association’s basic capital is not reduced and the repayment is not more than half of the previous year’s profit.
