Lag om ändring av faderskapslagen

A man may recognize paternity before the child is born, but health care staff or a child welfare supervisor must refuse the recognition if the listed conditions are met.

About this statute

A man may recognize paternity before the child is born, but health care staff or a child welfare supervisor must refuse the recognition if the listed conditions are met. The child welfare officer must give the mother a chance to be heard about an acknowledgment if she has not approved it under the referenced sections. A person entitled to inherit under subsection 1 may request a redivision of an already completed estate division, even if the decedent died before 1 January 2016.
