Statute overview

About this statute

Universities must annually report certain exam and specialist-training counts to the Ministry, and state compensation is payable for specified medical and dental training costs for university hospitals and certain universities, subject to an exception for some specialist training. Regional state authorities pay out state education compensation, and eligible hospital-district joint municipal authorities and certain universities receive it without a separate application. A joint municipal authority for a hospital district with a university hospital and a university offering specialist medical and dental training must submit an annual report to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health on how the training compensation was used, by the end of June the following year.
